Quote for the Day (With Short Commentary)
"A bureaucrat is the most despicable of men, though he is needed as vultures are needed, but one hardly admires vultures whom bureaucrats so strangely resemble. I have yet to meet a bureaucrat who was not petty, dull, almost witless, crafty or stupid, an oppressor or a thief, a holder of little authority in which he delights, as a boy delights in possessing a vicious dog. Who can trust such creatures?" -- Cicero

Lies and Rhetoric but No True Freedom
How about an administration trying to impose a system of government that 50+million of its citizens voted to reject? A government reflecting the will of the people? Please Mr. Obama lie to us again. How many people in America are against your taxpayer money spending spree, yet the floodgates seem to be open with no sign of anyone shutting off the flow.
Americans, at least a large number, do prefer to have the freedom to live as they choose. This means being able to live as they see fit without government intervention, so long as they do not violate the rights of others. Keep your rhetoric and false promises. Start doing what you say not saying one thing and then doing the other. Quit spending OUR hard earned money, stop taxing us to support your programs, get your hands out of and off of private business. Do these and show that you truly believe in transparent government and freedom!

Someone is Full of It!
I laughed until it hurt after reading this sentence, then I finished reading the sentence and it really hurt:
"...including support for legislation that would require Congress to pay for any new programs by raising taxes or cutting other expenditures..." [link] Now do you really think Congress is going to stop spending money? .... What is gonna happen to your paycheck now?
"Earlier this week I held my first Cabinet meeting and sent a clear message: cut what doesn't work," --Barack Obama [link]
Keep in mind Obama "demanded" a $100 million cut by his cabinet. Don't worry with the fact that this amount was only roughly one-twentieth of 1 percent of March's federal deficit [source]
I only have this to say to you Chairman Obama, go take a flying leap you sociofascist/Marxist, commie loving, freedom hating, community organizing, spend other's money, blame someone else, keep your change, piece of ...!
Spend it Like You Got it O!
But in doing so, he has initiated the largest expansion of federal government since World War II and set up a massive challenge for his administration -- one that officials are already warning will be fraught with peril.
...Timothy Geithner told a congressionally appointed oversight panel this week that America's banks are still broken, despite all their bailout billions. And an inspector general assigned to the bailout program concluded this week that a private-public partnership designed to buy up bad assets is tilted in favor of private investors and creates "potential unfairness to the taxpayer." [link]
So everything is still broke, money has been created out of thin air, the size of the federal government has doubled in size in less than 100 days, and all this is supposed to be good and bring about "change" and "hope".

Is This How It Works Obama?
The biggest spender was bailed-out automaker General Motors Corp., which devoted $2.8 million to lobbying in the first quarter of 2009. It has received $13.4 billion in government loans and could get $5 billion more, according to a government report released Tuesday." [link]
Let me see if I understand this correctly? The government gives taxpayer money to organizations that have grossly mismanaged money and have not been able to earn a profit and are on the verge of going bankrupt. In return these same companies turn around and give some of the money to federal lobby's in order to secure even more money. Makes you wonder how much taxpayer money these scum have also contributed to scum in suits known as "Congressional Members"?

Welcome to the United Socialist States of Amerika
Isn't that nice to know. Wonder when law abiding Americans who have the right to peaceably assemble, the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances, and the right to speak freely became the enemy? Could it be they became the enemy when those that have no love, or regard for this great nation or our Constitution came into power? And I am not just talking about Obama, Bush probably did more damage to the Constitution than Obama has done. But when will it end? When will the government that is supposed to be ran by the people, allow the people to do as they will so long as they do not infringe on the rights of others?

That's One Small Step for Obama, One Giant Leap for Socialism
TREASURY TO STRIP CERBERUS OF STAKE IN CHRYSLER
"Cerberus Capital Management is expected to be an early casualty of the Treasury's rescue of the hobbled automaker, as the buyout firm will lose its 80 percent equity stake in Chrysler, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
According to the article, which cites an unnamed Obama administration official, Cerberus' equity stake in Chrysler is now worthless, effectively ending its ownership of the car company." [link]
Just as easy as that, the Obama administration takes away ownership of a private firm and is now the controlling interest of a private sector company. That is socialism folks, when the government runs everything. The means of production is centrally (governmental) controlled. What or who is next?

Take a Look Around You
Don't believe me? The banks have already been nationalized. That happened back in 1913 under Woodrow Wilson. Refer to my Quote for the Day to see what he eventually thought of that. Nationalized health care? Already got it. Maybe not in the terms of European nationalized medicine, but we are not far off. Look at all the hoops doctors here have to jump through to get anything done already. Hospitals have to render services to anyone who comes through their doors regardless of their ability to pay. Who do you think picks up the tab on this? Ever wonder why your health insurance premiums continue to go up yet you hardly ever use your insurance other than routine doctor office visits and prescription drugs?
American taxpayers, depending on your sources, have to work the first 3-5 months of the year to pay their taxes. In other words roughly 3-5 months worth of pay goes straight to the government. After that, you may "keep" the rest.
Make no doubt about it, America is already well on its way to being anything but the nation the founding fathers envisioned.
Do a brief exercise with me for a minute. Imagine that Jefferson, Adams, Madison, Franklin, etc... were around today, that things are exactly as they are now and these men had the same lofty ideals they did 230+ years ago. What would they do? What would they be saying? How long before they re-declared independence?

Government Takeover of Private Businesses
In testimony before the House Financial Services committee that just adjourned, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner just had to defend his institutional takeover plan against charges of radicalism.
"Do you realize how radical your proposal is?" Rep. Donald Manzullo (R-Ill.) asked.
"It's not radical. . ." Geither began, before Manzullo interrupted him.
"You're talking about seizing private businesses and you don't consider that radical?" Manzullo replied, his voice rising.
Manzullo is trying to get Geithner to give details of the plan -- that's where Geithner got stung before -- but Geithner doesn't have them yet.
If the plan were not radical, Manzullo said to Geithner, "you would have answers to some of my questions, such as, what size business would be subject to this?" [link]
What an interesting conversation that was. Geithner has no answer for a representative that asked him about the administrations plan to seize private business if they see fit. At least some people are starting to get outraged finally. The government is going too far and they need to be sent a swift message.

Don’t Be Fooled, Obama Plans to Raise Everyone’s Taxes
…is extremely committed to entitlement reform and is plotting politically feasible ways to reduce Social Security as well as health spending. The White House folks didn’t say this, but I got the impression they’d be willing to raise taxes on the bottom 95 percent of earners as part of an overall package.” [emphasis added]
There you have it: We already knew that Obama wants to raise taxes, substantially, on the top 5 percent of earners. And now we know that he and his people want to raise taxes on 100 percent of us." [link]
Well, not much we can add here other than: "I TOLD YOU SO!"

Analysis: Obama Recovery Plans Sowing Some Unease
Although the administration likes to say it "inherited" the recession and trillion-dollar deficits, the economic wreckage has worsened on Obama's still-young watch.
Every day, the economy is becoming more and more an Obama economy." [link]
Does anyone think it might be caused by the doom and gloom spread by Obama and his administration? By his proposed "fixes"? By the "fixes" he has already ramrodded through?
In my opinion this is a man that wanted the presidency, got there, and now has no clue as to how to truly fix anything, so what does he do? He pulls out the liberal playbook, which by those of you who don't really know was written by a man named Norman Thomas. Do some research on him and you will find out that he so scared the democratic party, that they adopted a majority of his proposed policies.

Democrats Have Not Taken Gun Control Off the Table
"So, Associated Press writer Jim Abrams ("Democrats Show Little Appetite for Gun Gontrol [sic]," News Chief, March 4) thinks we have nothing to fear from Obama-Pelosi-Reid on the gun-control front? Is he that stupid, or does he think we're that stupid? A look at the White House's own Web site reveals this. http://www.whitehouse.gov/agenda/urbanpolicy/
You just gotta love it when someone comes out and says it point blank. There are starting to become more and more that are saying this daily and not just on gun rights issues. Keep your eyes open for ever more encroaching restrictions in all areas. Won't it be fun when the government gets access to your medical records? Wonder how much Teddy "Pour me another one" Kennedy would enjoy things right now if we had nationalized health care? Oh, but I forget, he is one of the elite that the rules don't apply to.

Deception at Core of Obama Plans
Read enough yet, starting to get the idea...that we are headed down a radical socialist agenda the likes of which it might nearly be impossible to pull out of without major consequences. And quite a few Americans are now starting to see this. For example upon taking office Mr. Obama had an approval rating of 80% give or take a few points. Let's look at some polls now:
President Obama Job Approval
| Poll | Date | Sample | Approve | Disapprove | Spread |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| RCP Average | 02/25 - 03/04 | -- | 61.3 | 28.0 | +33.3 |
| FOX News | 03/03 - 03/04 | 900 RV | 63 | 26 | +37 |
| Diageo/Hotline | 02/28 - 03/02 | 803 RV | 67 | 27 | +40 |
| Quinnipiac | 02/25 - 03/02 | 2573 RV | 59 | 25 | +34 |
| Gallup | 02/27 - 03/01 | 1551 A | 63 | 25 | +38 |
| Cook/RT Strategies | 02/27 - 03/01 | 880 RV | 57 | 28 | +29 |
| Rasmussen Reports | 02/27 - 03/01 | 1500 LV | 60 | 39 | +21 |
| NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl | 02/26 - 03/01 | 1007 A | 60 | 26 | +34 |
Hmmmm around a 20% drop in just six weeks...How about looking at the direction we are headed as a country:
Direction of Country
| Poll | Date | Right Direction | Wrong Track | Spread |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RCP Average | 02/19 - 03/02 | 35.8 | 56.0 | -20.2 |
| Diageo/Hotline | 02/28 - 03/02 | 32 | 55 | -23 |
| NBC News/Wall St. Jrnl | 02/26 - 03/01 | 41 | 44 | -3 |
| Daily Kos/R2000 | 02/23 - 02/26 | 39 | 58 | -19 |
| ABC News/Wash Post | 02/19 - 02/22 | 31 | 67 | -36 |
Looks like a quite a few believe we are headed in the wrong direction as well. But do you think Mr. Obama will listen to the ones who are truly supposed to run the country, "WE THE PEOPLE"? Very doubtful. Instead you can almost guarantee he will continue to push his ultra-radical agenda to the detriment of the nation.

Going on Here as Well.
"I warn you this revolution means business," (Hope/Change you can believe in?) said Chavez, whose government has struggled with lower oil income and minor food shortages this year. The anti-U.S. president, who has nationalized swaths of the economy, is popular among the poor for pressuring companies to produce cheap goods and for government programs that provide subsidized food in city slums (give them food, lower their bills, take over the banks, the car industry, give us what we can afford). [link]
If you took out the names and some of the other give-away-who-I-am-info? If anyone would be able to tell the difference between this idiot and Obama?
