Man Saves Wife From Mugger, Yet Police Discourage Fighting Back

"Going to the aid of his wife as she and an armed man struggled over her purse in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart Supercenter in west Little Rock on Monday night, a 63-year-old dentist pulled out a .357-caliber revolver and opened fire, striking the would-be robber in the buttocks, police said Tuesday."

I am just going to warn you. There are some absolutely ridiculous statements by "authorities" that will follow.

"Little Rock police spokesman Sgt. Cassandra Davis said the department generally discourages people from using force to fend off robbers...Instead, Davis said, she would recommend that people cooperate with the robber and “be a good witness,” paying attention to what the robber looks like, remembering what he says and making note of the weapon he uses and the vehicle he drives." How about we disregard the fact that the mugger here pulled a gun and was pointing it at the man and his wife. He did what any armed person would do (I use this statement, because I have yet to figure out what a gun-grabber would do. I suppose watch their wife get raped and then let themselves get killed) he used cover and fought back.

Things like this always make me think of a pair of Col. Jeff Cooper's quotes: "Fight back! Whenever you are offered violence, fight back! The aggressor does not fear the law, so he must be taught to fear you. Whatever the risk, and at whatever the cost, fight back!"

And

"We continue to be exasperated by the view, apparently gaining momentum in certain circles, that armed robbery is okay as long as nobody gets hurt! The proper solution to armed robbery is a dead robber, on the scene."

You've Heard the Phrase "Follow the Money"

In other words while on acting as a board member he helped to get a "stock market" started that deals in greenhouse gases. Now this next part is pure conjecture, but wonder how much of his own money he has invested in this? It is well documented that Al Gore has ties with this same exchange. Wonder how many other people there are yelling to the top of their lungs trying to get this cap-and-trade passed have a huge chunk of money on the line?

I wonder just how many lives this man may have just saved?

Is it Just Me, Or Has Anyone Else Noticed a Trend?

It is always a tragedy when a human life is lost regardless of how it happens. It is even more tragic when the end comes in an outburst of violence.

Usually after reading something like this you can just about guarantee something about how we need more gun control in order to make our streets safe and protect our children. Well, sorry to disappoint, but this post will not go that way. What I have noticed recently, and would like to find out if anyone else has noticed? Is if it is just me or are there more shootings going on now? Or is the media focusing more on the shootings that are taking place to help strengthen Obama's agenda on promoting the gun ban?

I am sure sociologist could attribute some of the violence to the state of the economy. But how much more coverage are these shootings getting national attention in the media now than they were just several months ago? If the media is bringing attention to these things now that there is an anti-gunner in the White House then you can add another unethical notch to their belt.

For me I am sort of enjoying watching a lot of these huge "liberal" newspapers fall, I just hope congress doesn't decide to use my money to try and stabilize them, but I am sure they will there is already talk about a "newspaper bailout".

I guess that is about enough ranting for today.

More Lies and Power Grabs

I think that after seeing all the lies, backhanded dealings, rhetoric, blaming others, etc... That we have a tyrant in the making. He is doing all he can to get as much power into his hands as possible while attempting to console the public while he does so. There were plenty of people before the election that warned about what type of person Obama was and what he would do to the country. I fear we are only starting to see a small portion of what he has in mind for the country.

You just gotta love how this man has made a career out of lying and then covering up his mistakes with more lies. No wonder he is such a successful politician. He is at the head of the pack when it comes to lying. Only problem is he gets caught up in it so easily. People are now starting to see through the haze a little bit and realize we have a person in power that is in way over their head and really has no idea on how to be president. But good for a laugh nonetheless.

The Banana Republic and the Counterfeiting Government

Now, I understand that more often than not economics is a very tricky subject, so I will simplify the above in layman's terms. What the Fed will now do (they like to make it sound technical by using the term "electronically printing money") is change the way that they calculate intake, expenditure, overhead, etc... Actually it really doesn't matter, they are doing two very simple things that if a private citizen or a business were to do they would wind up doing time in a federal pen. They are quite simply "cooking the books" or changing the numbers in however they feel will best serve their purpose, and they are counterfeiting.

What I would like to focus on for a moment is the counterfeiting part. There are several reasons why "counterfeiting" is bad, especially when done by the government. If we realize that Federal Reserve Notes (FRN's) are a means of measuring a persons work output, then we can really start to get upset at what the government has been doing. What I mean by this is, if you work, sale items, do something for "money" your work is rewarded by being paid something. More often than not this is symbolized by a paycheck which you can exchange for FRN's. Now, the more FRN's that are in circulation without being backed by someones work the more the value goes down. In other words if out of the blue the government printed enough FRN's to give everyone in America $1million the price of everything would go up drastically, because the value of the FRN has been diluted. This is why the government is always after those pesky citizen counterfeiters, they don't like competition in the FRN market.

So in reality every time the government prints money because it feels like it, it is actually stealing from every hard working American by devaluing their work, ideas, productivity, industriousness, etc...



Make sure when they come out you take at least a large wheelbarrow full to the store it will probably take that many at least to buy a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk.

Military demands details on soldiers' private guns

Now that is just plain scary. What reason would the army need to know who owns guns and where they are stored?

Also, isn't it funny how some things can be stopped when it is discovered that someone was not "acting within his authority"? How about stopping members of Congress who are constantly doing things not within their authority.

Administration to Have Farmers Register

How about we take a brief look at a new bill offered up in Congress? Please take a look at H.R. 875, the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009. The above link is the bill as it appears in the House. The bill in the senate is S. 510.

What these bills propose, is that anyone who produces food of any kind and then transports it for sale, must register with the government. Under a new agency dubbed the "Food Safety Administration". There is no waiver, even for those that sale at Farmers Markets. Even worse those that do register agree to federal agents inspecting their property as well as all records related to food production.

What is quite ironic about all of this is that now the Obama's are starting a garden at the Whitehouse. Isn't it nice that since they are rich and have the means, they can grow their own food as a privilege instead of having to rely on their crops for their livelihood?

Just remember there are three things needed for a successful Revolution. Food, health, and money. And as is evident Obama is not starting to try and limit all three. What is he afraid of?

We Need To Ask: For What Purpose?

Given this information I think that it is imperative to ask, if the outlook for this plan is this bad, something that will literally cripple the nations economy, and effect every single American in one way or another, then Obama, what is your purpose? What are your goals? What is your agenda?

Is it not already evident that the best interest of the country are not his goals and objectives, but rather some other socioeconomic political agenda?

I am sure that quite a few people come across this site and think it is completely an anti-Obama site. While for the past month or so the majority of the things I post on here have had to do with Obama and his administration one must look past the people or the headlines. I have been spreading the word about the losses of liberty, freedom, and outright corruption that goes on in the United States. It just so happens that Obama happens to be the one that is pushing and/or allowing for these violations of the Constitution to happen. Had I been blogging when Bush was in office you would have seen the same types of posts. They are both shredders of the United States Constitution and I hold no respect or gratitude to either one. In other words I am and equal opportunity opponent of tyranny and anything that limits freedom.

I now ask you the readers of this blog to tell me what you would like to read about? What stories would you like to hear about? What ideas would you like to see me promote? (As long as they are pro-freedom). I will still continue to do what I am doing, and appreciate the visits from those of you that are regular visitors and your reassuring comments and advice.

Obama Claims He's Responsible, Then Blames Other People

Once again, from the King of Contradiction, the Liar-in-Chief, the Rascal of Rhetoric, OK so you get the point.

"President Obama has mastered the art of employing rhetoric that makes it sound as if he's doing something uniquely virtuous and heroic when in reality he's doing stuff that political leaders often do. [That would be lie for those of you who haven't figured this out yet] We've seen this with the way he touts bipartisanship while being unwilling to offer real compromises or the way he proclaims he isn't hiring lobbyists when he actually is..." Glad to see this is starting to get more and more coverage. Eventually he will end up destroying his own credibility. Just wonder if he will do this before he destroys the country?

Forced to Volunteer?

There is currently a bill that has passed the House. The "GIVE Act as it is affectionately known. You can read a summary here, or the full version here.

"...the bill's opponents...say it could cram ideology down the throats of young "volunteers," many of whom could be forced into service since the bill creates a "Congressional Commission on Civic Service. The bipartisan commission will be tasked with exploring a number of topics, including "whether a workable, fair and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people could be developed and how such a requirement could be implemented in a manner that would strengthen the social fabric of the nation." Now don't get me wrong, I feel that if you want to give back to your community that is a wonderful thing. By all means go ahead and do what you feel you must do. The part that concerns me at this point (aside from the cost) is the mandatory service requirement. This has not been fully hashed out yet, but it could be a possibility. The main problem with this requirement is a little thing called the 13th Amendment. You know the one that abolished slavery and states: "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

That part about involuntary servitude is a real deal killer there, or should be. Of course when you have an administration and a congress that don't give one damn about the United States Constitution who knows what they will enact or force the American people to do.

There are some other clues out there that point to Obama being one of the best comedians ever. I mean anyone who gets praise for being such a wonderful orator and then thanks himself in a speech due to a teleprompter mistake... Or speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi posting very odd and out there videos on youtube. No seriously she posted a video about her and two cats on capital hill. I could not watch it all, very strange to say the least.
